At Fifth Avenue
Studios we are committed to providing high-quality service to our artists at
fair, reasonable rates. To create a digital file of your artwork we scan the
original using a wide format scanner. We can scan images up to 40” wide with
no limitations to the length. The scanning process is $45.00.
Scanning from a
transparency or slide is $25.00. With this scanning we ask
that you provide some sample for the color correction process.
This brings us to the next step; accurately reproducing your colors. Most Giclée printers charge for color corrections by the quarter-hour. In an effort to keep the process cost-effective, we have developed several options.
Ø First, we are willing to waive the cost of color correction in exchange for full-sized signed Artist Proof of the original.
Ø The second option is a flat $125 fee for color correction.
Ø The final option is to adhere to the industry standard and pay for this service in quarter-hour increments.
